The Sao Khue Awards is the most prestigious and trusted professional recognition program in Vietnam’s software and IT services industry, organized annually by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) since 2003.

On April 14, 2023, the Sao Khue Awards Ceremony was successfully held in Hanoi with the participation of many leading technology enterprises. Among them, ITD was honored with the 5-Star Sao Khue Award for its Intelligent Traffic Management Software (iTMS).

5-STAR SAO KHUE AWARD

The 5-Star Sao Khue Award is granted to products, platforms, services, and IT solutions that receive the highest evaluation from the Judging Council among all recipients of the “Sao Khue Award” in each category or group, based on criteria such as socio-economic impact, brand reputation, revenue, market share, number of users, and innovative or breakthrough technologies.

The Sao Khue Awards is the most prestigious and trusted professional evaluation program in Vietnam’s software and IT services industry. Organized annually by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) since 2003, the program recognizes outstanding and reputable products and services that demonstrate exceptional quality and performance, earning strong customer trust and competitive advantages in the market.

Over the past 20 years, the Sao Khue Awards has honored thousands of excellent software products, IT solutions, and services developed by Vietnamese enterprises. The award has served as a launchpad for Vietnam’s software industry, helping elevate Vietnamese IT brands and strengthen their position in the international arena. In particular, since 2016, the Top 10 Sao Khue Awards has been established to honor the ten most outstanding products and services in Vietnam’s software and IT industry each year.

In 2024, the Ministry of Information and Communications identified four key priorities for the national digital transformation strategy — Digital Data, Digital Governance, Digital Industry Development, and the Digitalization of Economic Sectors. Evolving alongside these directions, the Sao Khue Awards continues to adapt and grow, aligning with the pillars of Digital Government, Digital Economy, and Digital Society, and reaffirming its mission to accompany Vietnam’s journey toward a comprehensive and sustainable digital future.

On March 18, 2024, the Final Judging Conference of the Sao Khue Awards 2024 took place in Hanoi, chaired by Mr. Nguyen Quan, former Minister of Science and Technology, and Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of VINASA, together with 36 members of the Judging Council. After the presentation round and final evaluation, the Council selected 171 outstanding nominations from 271 submissions to receive the Sao Khue Award 2024, including 11 products recognized with the 5-Star Sao Khue Award and 10 solutions honored in the Top 10 Sao Khue Awards 2024.

ITD’s Intelligent Traffic Management Software – iTMS was selected by the Judging Council to receive the Sao Khue Award 2024 in the Transportation category.

Particularly, iTMS was honored with the prestigious 5-Star Sao Khue Award, recognizing it among the best IT solutions of the year.

The iTMS solution was highly evaluated for its advanced technology, creativity, effective application performance, and significant social impact — contributing to traffic safety, community benefits, and receiving positive feedback from users.

This achievement marks a proud milestone for ITD, reaffirming its mission to advance intelligent transportation and integrate IT innovations into building a safer, smarter society.
